Welcome to the 2021/2022 Season!

Middleville AYSO Families,

Welcome to the 2021/2022 soccer season. We are so excited to have all of you join us. It's going to be a great season out on the fields this fall. This is just a quick email to ask you to be patient as we finalize the details before we get outside. Below is some important information regarding the timeline for this season as well as reminders for each age division.

Current Draft of Fall Timeline
August 30: Practices allowed to begin for 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U (8U once a week, twice for 10U, 12U, 14U)
September 13: 4U Playground Begins
September 14: 5U Schoolyard Begins
September 15: 6U Begins
September 17: Games Begin for 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U (8U Friday/Saturday, Saturday for 10U, 12U, 14U)
October 23: Last Game Day of Fall 2021
October 30: Last Day for Fall Make Up Games
Picture Day will be in the spring, May 7.

Rosters
Coaches do not have their rosters yet. Please be patient, your player's coach will reach out before the season starts.

Schedules
8U & up game schedules will not be available for a few weeks. Games are projected to begin September 17 & 18.
4U meets on Mondays at 6 pm.
5U meets on Tuesdays at 6 pm.
6U meets on Wednesdays at 6 pm.

Uniform Pickup
We plan to have a uniform pickup at least the week before activities begin for our 4U, 5U, and 6U divisions. Dates will depend on when these kits arrive and more details will follow.
Uniform kits for 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U will be given to coaches to distribute at a practice before games begin.

Player Equipment
Every player at every level is required to wear shin guards fully covered by tall socks. This includes our youngest players.
Every player needs to have plenty of water at each practice and game. Be prepared for warm days with more than you think you might need.
Every player needs to bring their own soccer ball to each practice and game
Coaches are provided with a game ball, but they may not have enough balls for each player
Size 3 for 4U, 5U, 6U, 8U
Size 4 for 10U, 12U
Size 5 for 14U
Soccer Cleats are Not Required
If a player chooses to wear cleats they must be soccer cleats
No baseball or football cleats are allowed
